This series of webinars will draw upon McREL’s most recent meta-analytic research study on the effects of superintendent leadership to increased student achievement. The working paper for this study, titled School District Leadership that Works: The Effect of Superintendent Leadership on Student Achievement, may be downloaded from the McREL website at www.mcrel.org

This series of interactive webinars will provide guidance on use of these findings to optimize education systems by superintendents, district-level staff, and principals. Participants will leave with new knowledge and tools for strategically emphasizing specific responsibilities and practices associated with higher levels of student achievement.

A pre-requisite – to best support understanding of the basic research and findings of the MCREL research and to provide a context for these sessions – participants are strongly encouraged to view two ONLINE sessions. These sessions are provided as part of the registration cost for these sessions:
